Stellar clusters: benchmarks of stellar physics and galactic evolution
The 2015 Evry Schatzman school deals with stellar clusters, a research domain that is exceptionnally active, especially due to recent observationnal results obtained in particular with the VLT, HST and Herschel, but also to theoretical development and cutting-edge numerical simulations.
The topics to be adressed during the school are the cluster formation in the local universe and at large redshift, their dynamical and chemical evolution, their contribution to galaxy structures and evolution in a global cosmological context, and the interactions between stars, interstellar medium and planets in various environments. It is a multidisciplinary school that will gather a large community.
